There is always something new and interesting happening at our Festival for Animal Lovers, and at the same time, the event has a charitable touch. At the first event, we raised funds for the first service dog for autistic persons in Slovenia. Every year, the obedience school for dogs Blazno Blatno organises friendly competitions, mainly agility. We also held the first hoopers match, organised by Alenka Gorjan from Blazno Blatno. It was attended by competitors from Slovenia and neighbouring Italy, and the judge was the renowned Italian judge Roberta Longo.
Last year, members of the obedience school for dogs went one step further and prepared a show called dog dancing or dancing with dogs. This new dog sport discipline is only gaining grounds in Slovenia, which means that our visitors were one of the first ones to see it. It is a unique dog show that is worth seeing!
Laughter and joy will be provided by participants competing in a brand new sport discipline – hobby horsing. In this discipline, individuals on stick horses are jumping over obstacles and showcasing dressage. We can hardly wait, how about you?
